Hi there, I’m Jacky.
A product designer based in
San Francisco.
With over five years of experience in product design, I specialize in enterprise UI. I’m currently at Cisco, designing an AI assistant and shaping the design system that helps teams ship AI features.
I’m originally from Hong Kong. In 2020, I moved to the US to study UX design at the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD). As a big fan of Japanese design, I’m fascinated by small details and craftsmanship. I believe “the devil is in the details” – and that’s the key to elevating the product experience.
Besides work, I’m a sketchbook practitioner. I keep a sketchbook with me so I can draw and take notes anytime, anywhere. It’s my personal Figma canvas – a place to explore ideas freely and express myself. It’s also my lens to reconnect with the world, by stepping away from screens and observing what’s around me.

Lead designer on Splunk’s platform admin experience and developer tooling. The modernization case here came out of this.

Splunkbase, the Splunk app marketplace. Launched the developer profile page and ran the usability testing behind the app development flow.

Ad creative across print, poster and social for A/B testing, and a rebuild of the EDM templates.

Eleven weeks with a researcher, a PM and an engineer, redesigning the Splunkbase app approval dashboard. The case is in the Work grid.
